In 2009, Zachary was afforded the rare opportunity of creating the staged musical version of the iconic character, Ralphie Parker, in the World Premiere production of A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL! The production at Kansas City Repertory Theatre smashed box office records for the theatre. Zachary continued to work on the show with its new composing team of Pasek & Paul (www.pasekandpaul.com) during the summer of 2010 at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle. The show enjoyed a highly successful run later that year in Seattle and played once again to rave reviews in 2011 in its First National Tour. In 2012, the show premiered on Broadway and was nominated for three TONY awards including Best Musical! Zachary is honored to have been a part of the development of this show that is destined to be a holiday classic for years to come!
